LOVE this dentist. I see Dr. Sarabess and she is always great. Her hygienists are AMAZING. They're super friendly, gentle, and caring (they also remember patients). My wait time is always short- last time I went I walked to the back as soon as I got there. I've been coming here for about 6 years and I've never had an issue. Highly recommend.read more

Dr. Jane made my dental emergency so easy and relaxing. I have had terrible experiences with going to the dentist in the past BUT Dr. Jane and her team made me feel calm, comfortable and truly cared about. I will never go anywhere else, there is not enough praise or stars to adequately review the dental office of Baumrind Baumrind & Jane !read more

I recently had a dental emergency. My regular dentist had a family emergency, my backup dentist was closed for Spring Break and my coworker referred me to Dr. Baumrind. He resolved my issue quickly. Everyone I spoke to in the office was kind beyond measure. Dr. Baumrind was so funny and he sings all of the time. This experience was really nice and i will visit again.read more

I don’t recommend Dr. Jain for invisalign. I should have done more research and gone somewhere else. While checking out after my first visit I’ told that payment must be made in full up front, or in two payments. Most offices offer monthly payments for large bills, and if you don’t that should be made clear. Later I got bills in the mail, phone calls, and was told in person multiple times that I owed despite being paid in full. I took my before pictures and came back 3 weeks later expecting to view the clincheck (the animation that shows you how your teeth will move and the end result). However, they had to retake my pictures with a cell phone because they weren’t in the correct format. I couldn't have come in earlier when they discovered they took my pictures wrong? When I viewed the clincheck she played it with no explanation. Just “here it is”. I asked a couple of questions, and it seemed like she wasn’t very familiar with my treatment, which is concerning because the doctor is supposed to view it and make any necessary changes before sending it back to have the trays made. At my next appointment I asked to see it again, my bottom row specifically. She couldn’t figure out how to isolate my bottom teeth. After a minute she could show me the view from the top, but I never got a good look at the bottom row. I asked if it could be sent to me, like I had seen many people did online, and she didn’t know how, but would try later. I never got it. When I was done with the first phase of treatment she assumed I was done and didn’t ask me, or look herself, at my results to see if more changes were needed. I said I wanted refinements and we discussed the additional changes. One concern was that there was too much gum showing on my top row. She said that gums get inflamed and recede, and should go back to normal. I said if they were receding there would be less gum showing, and I’m saying there’s more gum showing. That tells me she wasn’t really listening to my concerns. My teeth were sensitive and removing the attachments is uncomfortable. Knowing this she told the hygienist that she’d leave my old attachments on for the refinements. She didn’t tell me, or ask me if I wanted to leave them on. So I had to interrupt and say I want them removed. We discussed it and she said we could “reuse” them for the next set of trays because I’ll probably need attachments for the next round. I did a lot of reading about invisalign and nowhere had I seen that attachments can be reused. You need different ones for refinements, which I did. She mostly removed my attachments, but there was still residue that was rough and noticeable. We decide to wait and see where my new attachments will be, as they might be over my old ones so some residue is ok for now. During this time she cut my lip with the burr and didn’t acknowledge it. I ended up seeing another ortho to have the rest of the residue removed, which he was easily able to do. When I came in to approve my second clincheck I find out that she already approved it, saying they made all the changes we discussed, and the trays were ready, which I wasn’t happy about. I view the clincheck and all the changes I wanted weren’t made. We discuss one of the changes, which ends with her telling me it’s impossible. If it was impossible, shouldn’t she have told me that when we first talked about it? I wanted one tooth back where it was before. If it was like that before then it’s not impossible to move it back. I think she was saying that so they wouldn’t have to have new trays printed after having the trays made without my approval. Their instructions for the whitening gel were completely wrong. I was told to put gel on two of the molars on each arch of the tray and it would spread out to all the teeth, and to leave on for 15-20 minutes. The product’s website said to put it all over the tray, and to wear it 4-6 hours. The top tray was cut down past the gum line so the top part of a few front teeth wouldn’t whiten.read more

This is a great practice. My husband has been a devoted patient for years and I finally decided the trek into downtown would be worth it as well. The staff is friendly and puts in the effort to make their patients feel at ease. Dr. Jain has a pleasant bedside manner and took the extra time to get my fillings just right. Over the years, my husband has likewise raved over both Dr. Baumrinds.read more

Dr. Jain is an exceptional dentist... her dental work is truly an art form. She is precise and gentle, but never takes very long to get things done. She executes with finesse, and before you know it, you’re done when you’re still expecting the worst! I especially love that she communicates so well with me & educates me every time, while still making sure that I’m comfortable with a certain procedure before it’s done. Dr. Jain has a tremendous amount of empathy & her bedside manner is truly incomparable. I highly recommend Dr. Jain to all!read more
